Danú are one of the leading traditional Irish bands of the 21st century. Now celebrating 23 years of touring and 8 previous award winning albums, Danú still remains at the forefront of Traditional Music bands in Ireland. They are known for their high energy live performances, which feature a vibrant mixture of new material and all time Irish folk classics. They sing in both Irish and English and the band features the following instrumentation: Ivan Goff - flute and uileann pipes, Oisín McAuley - fiddle, Éamon Doorley - bouzouki, Nell Ní Chróinín - vocals and tin whistle, Benny McCarthy - button accordion, Amy Richter - bodhrán, Tony Byrne - guitar. Amy has been touring with the band since 2017.
